Team Topologies and it got me thinking about the different types of people in my small team of 4.
Team leads, can you describe the different types of people in your team, and how they contribute to success or failure?
I'm not really looking for tales of how X engineer or admin was lazy and how awful they were. I'm more after why they were lazy/belligerent/outperforming/distant/workaholic/etc and how that personality trait interacted with the rest of the team.
Team leads who have managed more than one team, how have the different types of people been represented in different teams? Have you found that most teams are pretty much alike? Or has each team been very different?
Did you find that new people joining your team were able to settle in quickly and easily, or did some personality types instantly cause friction?
