The whole thing is not a great look for Telenor, and they've been in the news a lot because of this and related incidents. They've even already freely admitted in reports after investigating themselves they've violated the human rights of the elected representatives of the Burmese government by blocking access to their website.[1]
Goes to show it's a bad idea to set up shop in a politically unstable country. It's not like Myanmar was a shining beacon of democracy in 2013-2014 when Telenor entered the Burmese market.
